We can quote for the immediate future or for some time down the track. As long as the discussed circumstances and amount of goods don’t change the price is set. However this does not apply to the Peak Season December and January.
We have found that the best way to do this is to estimate your cartons on a room to room basis.
By this we mean as you are walking around your home and listing your furniture and belongings try to visualize contents of cupboards and loose items in piles and then count how many piles you think there will be for each room.
You can always update your quote / booking closer to moving day with a final tally
We always prefer an inventory list because generally when it comes to a cubic meter quote, the customer often overestimates the size of their goods and then the price your quoted could be incorrect.
To greatly reduce the risk of an incorrect quote, we always request that the customer fills out an inventory list as it is the most accurate way to quote a job.

A “standard” removal carton has the following dimensions,
450 x 450 x 650mm
Standard cartons are ideal for clothes, light items, linen, crockery, glassware etc…
These boxes are readily available at most storage facilities.
Yes, we always recommend you wrap your upholstered furniture in plastic covers, as even when they are wrapped in our removal blankets they can often get dirty whilst inside a truck.

We do not insist that you use standard removal cartons.
However if you don’t we recommend that you use strong double thickness boxes.
We do not recommend leaving anything inside drawers, due to the chance of damage occurring to the item of furniture, and also something may fall out and get lost
Yes this is a service we do provide.
Usually we have the tools on the truck, although it would be good if you could let us know prior to our arrival.
There is normally an extra charge for this, as time will need to be allowed for it, so please contact us in advance of your moving day to discuss
Your Responsibility (1)
No, There is no reason for you to need to help load or unload the truck at all.
We send 2 Removalists to load the truck at pickup and unload at delivery.

Some food can be transported, non-perishable foods such as pasta or cereals are fine
It is not possible for us to transport any perishable food as we do not have a refrigerated truck.
If you do not believe a semi trailer will not fit down your street, then we need you to let us know when you book, so we can ensure that your removal is not allocated to one of our larger trucks.

To make this as easy as possible you can complete the booking form on the website and send to us.
To use this form you will need to know the quote number that we gave you with your original request.
As soon as we receive this form we will contact you and confirm if the date you requested is available and will answer any additional questions you may have.
Should this happen, please contact the office AS SOON AS YOU FIND OUT so that we may allocate you the day of your choice. Please keep in mind the day you would like may be booked out already, so let us know QUICKLY!

There are several factors that affect the time it takes to complete a removal.
The obvious ones are the amount of goods and the distance they are moving from your door to the truck.
The removalist will contact you the afternoon prior to your pickup day and advise the time.
